 Summer BBQ
August 2006
For the first time this year, it was decided to hold a summer BBQ. It was
very well attended and shows how many of us are still around during the summer
months and looking for things to do.
It was held in the home of Diana K.

This year the excellent summer lunch was held at the Salons de Groene Jager
in Brasschaat.

 Visit to Azincourt and Crécy
Weekend 27/28th May 2006
This visit was one of our "Special Events" held throughout the year
where partners and guests are also welcome. They are usually held at the weekend
or evening. Once a year we hold a weekend event which entails an overnight stop.
This picture is of some of our members on the approach to the museum at
Azincourt (the French name for Agincourt).

Visit to the Dodoens Herb Gardens
May 30th 2006
The herb garden is in the former vegetable garden of the castle of Baron Van de Werve.
The castle itself was demolished in 1950 but the iron gates and the orangery are all original.
 Visit to Katoen Natie
January 13th 2006
This was an evening "Special Event" where we were privileged to
receive a guided tour of the Katoen Natie art collection.
On the left you can see a picture of the beautiful Art Deco dining room.
 Christmas Lunch 2005
On the left you can see Sister Isabella, a member of the club, selling her
wares for the children's home where she works.
