| We then moved on via the Ruckersplein and Oude Beurs to the Grote Markt and from there we walked via Kaasrui to the Hendrick Conscienceplein. (below right where you can see a statue of Hendrik Conscience.) | |

| Eventually we arrived at the Rockoxhuis where Gerry took over and explained something about Rockox. Below the group is visiting his house which has been restored to look very much as it was in his time. | |

| After lunch we went downstairs to enjoy our coffee in the bar area. | |
| After lunch we had a guided tour of the Cathedral. Our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we all very much enjoyed it, staying much too long! | |
